Mo Dean, the founder of MODivation Productions, is gearing up for the release of her first independent feature-length film, The Confessions of a Black Conman: The Road to Redemption, which has an interesting background behind its conception.
According to the official press release, The Confessions of a Black Conman: The Road to Redemption tells the true life story of Kweisi Tshombe a real life black con man who came from humble beginnings in the Jim Crow South. Tshombe moved up north to New Haven, Connecticut in 1958 and began his life of conning people and businesses which would fund his life style making over three million dollars. Tshombe served 50 years non-consecutively in the federal justice system. Both Kweisi and Mo Dean share the same goal in helping others by sharing Kweisi's story showing them the path to redemption.
